only Z-tube + K&N filter would work??

I was going to get Z-tube + JWT POP CHARGER
but some people say z-tube + pop charger might reduce HP because of the heat soaking.
so I just changed my mind to keep my stock intake.

but now...how about changing my stock tube with z-tube and get K&N filter? is this goint to work well for my G coupe? or just get K&N filter will be better? and also changing with K&N filter will make any louder sound?

I really like the sound of z-tube + pop charger but I don't wanna lose any HP.

Well they advised me to do exactly that. Add the Ztube and the drop in K&N drop in Filter. This will increase the sound and won;t lose any HP. or so i was advised.. I'm still going for the Stillen Ztube kit with airbox and cone filter.

Great thread about intakes and even dyno numbers. Dyno-ing the Myth or something....

What is it about cone filters that people love so much, even when told they produce no gains?

I think they're ugly as sin, personally.

This is what i have heard as well, everyone i have talked to has told me to just do the K&N drop in or the jwt pop charger and the ztube or the stillen ztube.

PM me if you are in Socal and I will make you one of my custom intakes that are better than all of those for about the same price.

Locals only since it requires custom fabrication.

Why would you want to pay the same amount for less gain...no matter what name is on it?

Look around on the forum and you will see that I am a brand name.

This question has been discussed so many times but I'll give you this insight, Sean's (SxExCx) intakes will do a great job getting cold air to your engine. If you don't live in SoCal my best advice would be to get the complete Stillen CAI/Z-tube combination. Zero issues with heat soak and it comes with a very large K&N cone filter....
