Hi Frns,
I just had a worst day ever. got back from an oil change (@ Midas) . was a bit raining outside. I notice that my speedometer is not working.. The needle shows zero mph. The needle showing the engine rpm is not working either (stuck at zero). I also noticed that these lights are ON
a) VDC OFF
b) SLIP
c) AT CHECK (Automatic transmission check)
d) Engine Oil Pressure
e) Check Engine light flashed couple of times and then disappeared completely.
f) The headlights were flickering quite a few times
g) The turn signal indicators are not lit on the dashboard.
I kept driving real slow to get to home. I started noticing sudden jerks. This got me real psyched. Please help me and let me know your suggestions. Am I in big trouble?


Dont know if this helps, but Prior to this incident, like most of 03' G35 Coupes, CD is stuck in the CD player, AC is stuck at auto 75F with fan set to AUTO, center console buttons dont respond, steering controls for audio dont work either. In the winter/snow, I have to disconnect my battery every nite to stop it from draining overnight.
The passenger side headlight went out too a few months back.

I am taking to the MIDAS again tomorrow and keeping my fingers crossed. (am really pissed with the Nissan/Infiniti cars). Could you please let me know of your thoughts or share your experiences.

Check for blown fuses both on the fuse box inside the cabin and also on the one attached to your positive battery terminal.
