Recommended Tire Rotation

What is the recommended mileage between tire rotations on our car?

I am also aware we cannot rotate from front to back due to size differences. I just want to know how many miles you have b4 you guys start rotating/inverting your tires.

Thanks...

Like you said, we can't rotate the traditional way. But you can swap side to side if you have asymmetrical tires. I usually rotate other cars at every 5000 miles, just to use a nice even number.

I would do it every other oil change pretty much. that is assuming that your doing oil changes every 3-4000 miles.

$30 :O

The standard rate in socal is 10 for dismount, mount and balance per tire, so if you do 2 they charge you 20.

regular rotation for all 4 is 10.

now the shop i know, i pay 15+5tip for mount/dismount/balance for 2 tires and checking alignment for free too.

The way my Michelin's are designed I can't swap em. They're wearing perfectly and my alignment is dead nuts to factory specs. Apparently you guys that change tires every oil change don't have directional tires that have arrows pointing the direction of rotation along with the words outside on the sidewall.

Is there any problem with the old traditional flip across diagonally rotation on a sedan if the tires are ok with it? I have done this on most of my vehicles for years with no problem, but I see I the G-35 manual, it says to keep the tires on one side only...
