Mod to make trunk closing less awkward?

If you don't like touching the paint, how do you close your doors?

Judging by your posts, it's obvious you don't care much about how your car looks. Just because you don't care about leaving small scratches that become visible over time, every time you close your trunk, doesn't mean that other people don't. So instead of posting useless crap, why don't you post something to help the OP?

I meant my car is a 2004. Damn, careful, you're about to make yourself look stupider than me.
Now I'll refer to my length of time here: If you haven't figured out I'm full of bullshit by now, then you really are that stupid. Anyone who has lurked for longer than a week knows 90% of my posts are to be taken about as seriously jiggyfinger's ***** size.
I normally don't open the trunk for a few months after I throw the dead hooker in there.

I guess you'll need to install a small hydraulic cylinder, resembling a hood shock, that is remote controlled to open and close the trunk. Much like that on new BMW's or the Infiniti QX56 cargo door.
But who would go through that much trouble.
Now, don't say I was never helpful.
