Just buy the plastic handle for the sedans and install it in your coupe. Issue solved!!

Simple solution, keep a microfiber towel in you drivers door and use that to close your trunk...Gary

I've always closed the trunk by pulling down on the locking mechanism.

Judging by your posts, it's obvious you don't care much about how your car looks. Just because you don't care about leaving small scratches that become visible over time, every time you close your trunk, doesn't mean that other people don't. So instead of posting useless crap, why don't you post something to help the OP?
