loud whirring sound under 30mph

I have a loud noise, I guess you can say whirring sound under 30mph. It's worst while slowing down. I have had 3 different sets of rims on the car, all new brakes and rotors, and just replace the front wheel bearings. I had 3 friends tell me it sounded like the wheel bearings but it made no change to the noise but it did take the little vibration out of my steering wheel. To me it sounds like it is coming from the front but it's hard to tell. Any ideals what it could be? It driving me nuts and after driving around for a while, it starts to give me a headache.

Check your power steering fluid. If it's low it will definitely make a whirring sound.

Are you sure it's not the dreaded tire roar? That noise shows up at about 30 mph and will drive you nuckingfuts...check your front tires for excessive inside wear.

I checked my steering fluid and it a little low but within the range. I will pick up some fluid tomorrow to see if that helps. I know it can not be the tires because it doesn't matter what tires I have on the car, the sound is the same. Also the noise does not get louder as I go faster. I seem to hear it the most when starting out or slowing down. I hear it mostly at 10-30mph.

I suffered the dreaded tire roar, but after some alignment pieces Vader has calmed back down.

I do get a soft whir from the trans (mostly when cold) but that's pretty relative to the speed and only gets louder over 30mph (when it does do it)

That's the only help I can be...sorry

could possibly be the dreaded thumping noise from the fuel damper, but it may not be. Do you hear it at idle like it's coming from behind the glove box area????

I'll take bets that's uneven tire wear due to the negative camber.

Rear tires are a week old and the fronts are still pretty new. They have not been on all year till now. It made no difference when I put brand new wheels and tires on it over the summer. The noise has been there since I bought the car. It just seems to be getting louder as time goes on.

It does not matter if its cold or hot nor does it change on how long the car is driven.
