I can tell you right now, you're going to need a few supporting mods, other than the supercharger kit, to keep your tranny safe (cooler, valve body upgrade, grounding kit, etc.).

Do not post that over on my350z. You'll get your *** chewed out.

I have a few seconds on my hands... My car is a 2004. I was ProCharged for 4 years. Funnest thing ever - but also scary because the VQ can just randomly pop at any time and many other FI guys can tell you the same. Even with the best tune and the best software.
You mentioned this would be your every day car. I would highly advise you to drop the dream of owning a supercharger. Unless you have a lot of self control, you run a high risk of costing yourself more money. Buy a beater, then supercharge the G on the side. It's my philosophy to always have a second car once you start messing with another like supercharging it. You'll always run into issues and have to perform maintenance on it that may take a few days.
On the flip side... there are guys who daily their FI cars and put 10's of thousands of miles on the odometer and don't have problems.
It's a coin flip. But you need to think about both sides of it. What if you never have issues? What if it blows next week and costs you $4,000. Always have enough in the bank to cover your ***.
