Exhaust got louder?

Sup all, couple of days ago I noticed my exhaust got a little more louder then before. I dont know could of caused it, but its definitely more louder, more drone. Has this happen to anyone? I'm thinking maybe a exhaust leak?

The weather has also gotten colder and its been raining alot here.

I have a used titanium trust axle back exhaust (japanese ver. of Greddy SE) with no other exhaust mods.

any suggestions?

Louder just at start up or all the time? Colder weather will make the start up idle higher

both..at idle is extremely louder, and driving it is noticeably louder as well

Crawl up under there and check it out. Might have a leak somewhere. Could just be cold weather playing with your head. Did you/do you hear a difference outside of the car?

happened to my recently (idk if you seen my thread) but i was losing power and the exhaust sounded way load to be stock. i took it to a mechanic and i explained what happened and that there were no cel light on then he lifted the car and said that his best guess is that behind the O2 sensor is a clog. so i went and ordered test pipes and a whole new exhaust. i havent received my exhaust yet but should be here within a week.

Oh no, I'm "More Louder!" lmao

Only real way to know why she got more louder is to get her on a rack and check the system out. Maybe this would be a good opportunity to change oil...

i would start replacing exhaust gaskets. when this happened to me, my test pipe(cat) to y pipe gasket had gone bad. fixed it right up for just a few bucks.

+1 I was thinking it could be a gasket also. The cold weather and rain should not significantly affect the volume of your exhaust note.

Also think you should check the gaskets first, may be a leak somewhere.
