Brand-new battery keeps dying

So I've always this issue with my '03 coupe when I bought it two years ago where it wouldn't start if the car sits for more than a few days. I figured the battery was old and I wringed as much life as I could until this past spring, when I replaced it with an OEM battery. Cleaned the terminals and added grease while I was at it.

Now the same issues persists, if not worse - if it sits for more than a whole day it'll crank like it doesn't want to start (still manages to turn over), and if sits for more than two whole days I'll have to jump start it. The G is my DD and if I drive it every day there are no issues, but it gets annoying to have to jump start it every time I let the car sit for a few days. Did I get an unlucky battery or is there something draining my battery?

Sounds like the audio unit is internally shorted causing a battery current draw. This is a common problem with the factory Clarion junk radio. Next time you park the car, raise the hood and pull the radio fuse out by the battery and see if this helps. I hope this helps bro..let me know if it does

I'll give this a try this weekend when I leave for Tahoe and will update the thread if it worked. Thanks!

Could be alternator or voltage regulator as well.
