Hey Guys,

I just installed my Pop Charger/Ztube thx to a great deal from Dimas_tp at the Market Place.

Since i Installed it I hear this whistle but it's not constant with my RPMs.... It's definitely Happening while I'm revving up but for example I hear it as low as 2500RPM then it goes away and it comes back at 3300-3600RPM but if I have Really rev it up i do not Hear it... so there's no whistle after 4000RPM.... Obviously it disappears if i let go of the gas... so it's clearly coming from the intake... now this might be a noob questing but I have never had an intake on my car... except for the Camry's Fujita but that makes no noise or difference Whatsoever...

Another thing is that the whistling sounds more like if my brake's were squeaking.....

you guys with the pop Charger have the same sound???

 

hmm i have a 5/16 spacer and mrev2 and i get the exact same thing. i have read that it is normal as it is taking in more air. its just like a little whistle, right when i rev and it has to be a quick rev. kinda sounds like a mini bov lol...

 

I had my spacer before the pop Charger and ztube and it did not make any difference on the sound.

If I rev it up fast it does make the air sucking sound. But the other Squeak/Air Leak/Whistle happens while i'm driving and not necessarily racing the engine...

 

hmmm i havent dealt with that from ztubes, but i havent experienced pop chargers

 

I will install the OEM airbox if the whistling continues it might be the pop... just want to know if it's normal... I'll try to make a video but dunno if it will catch the sound...

 

Yeah if you can catch it definitely post it, maybe i have dealt with it and just dont recognize it as a pop

 

I got on video but u cant really tell. I'm just assuming it's a whistle... lol
