Hi guys, just wondering if anyone else has this happening to them. So whenever the car sits for like 5 hours, maybe when its cools down, after I start it, let it warm then take off, there's this whoosh sound similar to a bov. However it occurs when I accelerate and not necessarily after letting the gas pedal go. I hope it's not another problem. BTW my car is pretty much stock aside from a K&N drop in

 

I have an Injen cold air intake and as soon as hit the gas i can hear a quick little squeak of the air rushing in. Could that be it?

 

Mine does it too. I think it's the abs pump doing it's thing.

 

Yeah, every time you turn engine off then turn back on and drive, the ABS system does a self check. Its normal. If you put your foot on the brake, you can feel it through the pedal. I found this out the hard and shameful way. I had a M45 a while back and thought I was having transmission issues. I took it to the shop to get looked at, luckily the service writer knew what I was talking about and I didn't have to pay for a diagnosis.

Yup I believe it happens when you hit 10mph. It's a good thing lol
