Powertrain warranty

Will intake and exhaust void powertrain warranty?

Most likely no. But the dealer might try and make it sound like it does.

It also depends on the problem that arises with the car.

Timing chain tensioner is rattling and getting checked out for the oil consumption tsb...

No it won't. I have them on my car and i got the extended warranty.

No it won't void it but the dealer may attempt to refuse warranty work saying that an issue was caused by the fact that you are running aftermarket parts.

Just to update, I took it in and they didn't say anything. They even started the oil consumption TSB for me. I take it back in about 850 more miles and, hopefully, get a new motor!

Maybe I can talk 'em into puttin' an HR in it lololol
