Battery Replaced - Warm Stall

Battery Replaced - Warm Stall
I just replaced the battery on my 04 coupe and am getting the classic warm stall issue, with the same symptoms as the rest. Cold starts are fine, but warm starts I have to press the gas for the car to not stall out. I didn't touch anything else, just the battery. My battery was disconnected for probably 4 hours until I got back with the new one.
I've seen the instructions for the ecu reset here
http://www.6mt.net/forum/performance...rocedures.html
Do I need to do all those procedures, or can I just do the Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning?
Thanks in advance,
Keith

Hey buddy, I feel you, had the same thing happen to me a couple months ago. The car actually forgets it's settings when the battery is disconnected, which is in my thinking less harmful than a reset. SO I just let it be that way until it learned it back. So my advice just step on the gas pedal slightly after turning it on. It will go away in like 2 weeks or so.

Thanks man. I think I might just take it to the dealer, have some vacation, so rather now than when I really need it and if it fails to stay running. Frustrating for just replacing the battery. Unfortunately I am out of warranty at 90K, so hopefully they can just correct the issue without charging me an arm and a leg.
