Something similar happened to me with another car I purchased. Nothing good came out of it for me and I just took it as a good life lesson.

Now I never take cars to get a used car inspection, unless the seller pays for it or something along those lines. I do the inspection myself. Research a lot before hand and know what to look for on the car.
