Hey everyone, today I received the Stillen Engine Damper for my 2004 G coupe. I was looking at the instructions they gave me and I'm having a really tough time trying to figure out the mounting points. I've searched the forums for some pictures and there doesn't seem to be any that are of much help. If anyone would be able to give me some tips and maybe pics that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
It mounts directly in front of passenger side shock tower on frame rail under power steering reservoir. You will have to loosen the power steering line bracket supporting hoses going to the power steering cooler.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I'm just going to hold off on the install for a while. Sounds like taking the power steering reservoir out is a royal pain and I don't really have the time or the tools to install it right now anyway.
Went to do the install this evening. The power steering resevoir was a piece of cake and I could see where the bottom bracket goes. I just couldn't figure out the instructions about relocating the grounding wire on the gold bracket, not sure where to relocate it to.

I actually just ordered one of these, so I'd be interested in more info on the install. The install instructions don't sound very detailed, but I'm assuming it will all make sense once you pull the power steering reservoir out. I should be getting the kit this coming week and plan to do the install next weekend.
I just need to look at it again and figure out where to relocate the grounding wire to. It says to relocate it to the bolt above where you take it off but the bracket doesn't look like it will fit there and the wire doesn't seem long enough to reach.
It's hard to tell, but it looks like Fig.1 shows the ground wire connected to the new location. If you look at the white arrow in the picture, go up above the large hose, then go to the right. It looks to me that the ground wire is connected there, which would be the new ground location. At least that's what it looks like to me.
I just don't think that wire is going to reach up there. Maybe I need to cut some zip ties and loosen it up further back. Just tugging on it, there is no way in hell it will go up that high.
Well that's interesting then. Since this is supposed to be a bolt-on and no mod kit, there must be some way of getting more slack out of that ground wire. I haven't looked under the hood at this yet, but I'm guessing it's tied up to something. Please update me/us when you get it figured out. I'm assuming I'm going to run in to the same problem, so...
I plan on taking another stab at it this evening. The other issue is a very very small amount of space to work with. What you need is someone with REALLY small hands to get to the lower mounting points. I need to find my Mechanix gloves or go buy a new set as I can just tell my hands are going to look like ground hamburger if I try to do this without them.
Took a good look earlier. The grounding cable is held down by a zip tie on the wheel well. It looks like popping that zip tie will provide plenty of slack. If I can get my big ogre hands and sausage fingers down into the bottom mount point than this should go smooth.

new fasteners are provided. Also at this time cut ties holding wire looms to front of
inner fender and push looms out of the way for better access."
I'm assuming they're referring to the zip tie on the wheel well that you found that's holding the ground wire. I also found that when I was looking at mine, so I at least know where that it and that it needs to be cut.
The power steering reservoir looks easy enough to get out of the way. I'm just not 100% certain where these two brackets are supposed to mount. I'm assuming I can't see the bottom bracket mount location right now because the reservoir is in the way. I'm not sure about the other one either though and I should be able to see it.
