Just a smidge under 110k on my 04 coupe. I can't believe I have had the same car for so long. Last summer I put a nice double din, backup cam, repainted the interior, took was it 1 or did it turn into 2 days to do an insane detail job to it.. put the metal underschrowd from Z1 on it for oil changes, etc. Do your tranny, coolant, oil flushes and these cars do well. Funny thing, I just dont see me selling this car anytime in the years to come..... while I need an SUV for practicality the G is still a nice looking car, reliable and has been so much fun to drive. I remember in 2003 when they first came out I was totally in love with the car. The exhaust note, the style and I still love the car. The car will always have a place on my driveway.

150k, needs something replaced like every other month. That’s what I get for buying a coupe for 5k in the Midwest tho. Engine mounts just went so I bought z1 solid mounts. Hopefully they’ll be here soon. Honestly probably gonna sell it and buy a Lexus

Did you get a mechanic to look it over? Hope that Lexus isn't going to also be for $5000. If it is I predict you will be in the same situation.

I feel you I just gave mine away 06 6MT with 144k still runs probably needs a need water pump. Had the sunroof come off on the highway a few weeks ago...blew out the back windshield when it happened. Looked at it and..."yep...we're done here" Drove it home and parked it until someone asked for it. Gave it away.

Grabbed a '16 Model S beginning of Aug. Enjoyed the G immensely tho.

Drive it til the roof comes off

So, it looks like this thread was for G35s only, but I can't resist. My 2011 G37S has only 34k miles😁

Part of me still wants to know....best I could surmise the sunroof lost a seal and peeled back while driving. I didn't notice anything happened to the roof until I was standing taking the picture. But the whole frame is bent tried to bend it back when I got home and man that metal is stiff. Had to be much force the pulled the and rglass upipped it right off the car. From there I guess the pressure and wind pushing right through that gap in the headliner where the roof recesses... and rear glass just shattered. Got out to check the windshield noticed the roof was gone.
I had the shade closed so I had no clue.
