2005 blue 6MT with just over 44k miles. Surprised at some of the low mileage examples posted. I need to change the rear brakes and brake fluid on it... came here for brake fluid recommendation. I track it maybe one per year.

Issues: Creaking driver's seat, passenger door lock does not work due to tons of friction in the handle mechanism, seat-belts do not retract well, radio sucks as it always has. Aside from these it's running pretty well, as it should..

Wow great find, Interesting no rear spoiler. Is it missing the aero package? I don't think I've ever seen a 6mt without a spoiler.

I guess it is missing the aero package, the dealership I got it from didn't have any of the original documentation from the original owner. This is my second G and my last one was a 6MT, but it was the laser red and did have the rear spoiler. The only difference between my 03 and this 04 is that it does not have the rear spoiler.

The aero package was the spoiler and 4 'diffusers' which are really just 4 plastic pieces under the body before and after rear and front wheels. Maybe check if you have those but if you do someone has made off with your spoiler lol. I've seen base auto coupes without it but not a 6mt.

Anyway, nice to see there are some stock, unmolested low mileage cars left. Yours has even less mileage than mine, just rolled over 70k km over 17 years a few posts above.

G35 Coupe w/ K&N CAI
Talking 99k miles on my original 2003

Amazing this thread has been running ongoing with replies since 2012...

Just bought a new 2020 Q60 RS 400 AWD this year, so I pay less attention here, but, I did still keep my 2003 G35 Coupe & am happy to lend her stats & some pics to the thread since it’s still going in 2020...

The 2003 has been garaged all it’s life & I am the original owner, it has 99k miles on it now (the 5AT was replaced under factory warranty & was a new shipped replacement from Nissan in Japan & not a rebuilt transmission, so tranny only has about 45k original on it), & is under a StormProof CoverKing cover outdoors now since grabbing the Q, & I rather hate that (Yikes), thus that cover. But my 2003, still runs like a champ, original motor, all major service & repairs tended to, rack & pinion was recently replaced due to leaking which could not be repaired. Actually K&N Designed the CAI for this car on THIS car, somewhere I should have an old thread here with that post & the DYNO sheets (if posts from 2003 are still here). I loaned the car to them at the time when it was new. I received it custom ordered Nov 2002 it landed at the dealer in Los Angeles...

Most recently I added an oil catch can to it (Got an ADDW1 catch can for the Q60, & it’s design was “revised V2 to V3”, so I wound up with 2 of them, so got the G35 custom made bracket from ADDW1 & hoses, & then just kicked that 1st can to the G35). WISH I had done that LOOONG ago....

•••(I would advise ANYONE with a G35 to get an oil catch can & don’t mess around with cheap ones. If you are doing it, go to ADDW1 & get their cans & custom made mounting bracket. They simply just fit / work. It’s a solution not something you need to “gimmick in” as an install...)

Randy

I still love this car & def planned to keep it when I got the Q.

Changed Xenon bulbs to a cooler temp & also LED for the H4 (all other exterior lights are now LED & orange front signal reflectors are replaced with clear, but otherwise she is full factory (loaded) original. Willow leather interior.

K&N CAI (replaced, polished Chrome avail at that time, no longer paint matched)

Had to also toss in the Q since I have both.. Extensive AMS parts on this one.... 😏

Had these custom made for the Q.

It really shows. For the 180k mileage, you literally cannot see those miles / years looking at your picture. The red looks great. Is that the original factory paint job too, or has it been repainted?

My G has been literally one of the most reliable cars I have owned to date (hoping the Q will follow in it’s reliability footsteps)...
