Thanks for you quick response. Yeah you really never know what you gonna get I guess... $2K for engine maybe $1500 to $2 to install. so say 4K guess i have to decide if its worth that to me. I sure do love driving it!!!

In today's market $4k gets you a 10 year old Civic or Corolla. Prices of used cars have gone completely unreasonable.
Swap it with another used DE, whether you go with a car-part or a JDM used is up to you, I've had good and bad luck with both.
The shop will normally give you a short warranty on the motor usually so it's not like you're assuming any risk by paying the shop to do the work. Just make sure they are doing a compression test and have the results printed on the paperwork.
I have 177 k daily driver amsoil everything since I got it at 120k in 2019. OG engine. Run smooth as the day I got as a straight trade for a 2007 Toyota Yaris. Still friends with the guy I traded it with.
Mine has 202k, 2004 model. Everything DID work before I Sent it to be painted.
Mine has I/H/E (custom G37 Exhaust), Custom gaskets, ported manifold & throttle body, coolant bypass, spacer, tune ~280WHP.
Old head checking in since 2012 Revup with 196k tuned and reliable. Pulled a car+ on a Nismo 350 HR with HFC NO TUNE and +/- half a car with a few unknown G37s so I guess its still running as it should. I see a few familiar user names still posting but man times have changed lol.
