2006 Inifiniti G35 Coupe 6MT
Instrument Cluster background lights not working.

All lights on the panel work (battery, door, ABS, brake, VDC, oil, etc..) except for the background illumination i.e. the numbers and bezel around the tachometer and speedometer, fuel and temperature gauges and mileage display.

Work was recently done to the radio which I believe may have caused the problem. The air condition, clock/dual temperature display works fine, dimming **** also. All fuses checked out good.

Does anyone know a direct method to troubleshoot and fix this minor problem?

 

did you check the little illumination adjuster down by your trunk pop button and vcd button? its a little scrolly thing that adjusts the lights on the dash? haha
