Keeping CD's in CD changer?
Well thats definitely part of the problem. I'm assuming you're referring to blank discs which are slightly thicker and are not supposed to be used with the stereo. I believe a dealership once told me those discs can damage the unit.
It's a fairly known issue with our head units that as they age they stop working %100 perfectly. My CD's skip until the head unit is warmed up. It doesn't matter which CD it's on either. Once everything is at temperature, it works fine except for the occasional side slap to get all the speakers to work which is a whole other known problem with our head units.
