Cassette Tape Ipod adapter doesnt work
Hey guys, I bought a Monster cassette tape Ipod adapter so I could listen to my ipod through the cassette input on then car. That way I dont have FM feedback, everything is clean. The adapter worked fine on my Highlander as well as my friends car, but as soon as I put it in my g35 casette space, it tries to actually play the tape. It says side one and it will scroll through it, find that its empty, then go to side 2 and scroll through it and find that it is empty. Then it kicks it back out. So it will play a song, but just for around 5 seconds before it kicks the tape back out. What cassette adapter's do you have? And if they work fine do you have a review on them? I dont want one that makes a loud noise while in there like some of my past ones have done. Thanks
I use one as well... I bought it on Amazon.com for like 8 bucks and it works great. I've had it for like 3 years. Might buy a new one soon though because I am starting to get a loose connection in the cord to the jack from the thing being moved around so much.

I had the same issue with the monster. It worked GREAT for a couple months. Crapped out. Bought another monster. Crapped out in a few days. Bought the Dynex one and its work well since. I'm waiting for this one to crap out before I buy a new headunit.
Right?!?
N/e ways, cant you upgrade to a cd player? I am sure they will have an adaptor on the face plate.

hmmm that's strange, seems to me if it works clean in other vehicles, then it's possibly your tape deck??? I know in mine the tape deck was messed up and would not play a tape, but I tried the ipod cassette adapter anyway, and it did the same thing.... however its possible it's not your deck
