Question Which Transmission Filter should we be using for our G35C?

Hi All,

I did a search but didn't come up with anything.

I am doing ATF change very soon, I need to replace the Tranny filter as well. But which one should I get?

I searched Ebay and found this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ATP-B-327-Tr...#ht_1182wt_952

Or should I get something better and reliable? This one is $13, is it good enuf?

For the rear diff oil, what's a good recommendation? I heard RedLine is good?

TIA!!!

Your G35 does not use a filter, its a strainer. The fine mesh screen just needs to be cleaned if dirty.

I'm sitting here reading this thread asking myself, "What filter?" If you really want to clean the trans strainer use a little carb cleaner then run it thru your dishwasher....don't tell your Mom/Wife. Most mechanics would just wipe in down and blow air thur it....if that!
