After a few weeks with various items listed on CL, it's pretty obvious which emails are legit. I hate the ones that ask if the item is still available, but leave no valid contact info. When i'm interested in an item, i leave the seller my phone # so they can quickly get in touch.

I was (still am) selling a wheel, had a guy call up and negotiate a price. He shows up and asks where the other 3 were??!@#? I told him the ad was for one. He says no. The ad showed 4 or 5 pics. I said yes, they were of the same wheel showing different angles! Draw your own conclusion.
