Squealing noise...

im hearing this sqealing noise when driving. i have no idea what it could be but when i press on the brakes it goes away but then comes back after a few mins.is it the brakes?anyone else have the same problem? if so, will the warranty fix it? please help

isn't that the infamous brembo squeeks?
now that i think of it, it sorta sounds like the timing belts too.

If it suddenly goes away when braking, I'd say brakes. But it could be either.

If they are Brembos, prolly not warranty, but fixed by roughing up the braking surfaces, then reseating and bedding the brakes.
Timing belt may need an adjustment, or there is something on the mating surface causing slippage.

I would say a safe guess would be the brembos... they sure love to squeel, specially mines.. =/

so should i take it to the dealership to see what they say? also, you guys think they would say something about my aftermarket CAI if i take it in?

They might note it in the computer so the next time you come for a smog check they might refuse it, or if something goes bad with the engine, they might pull up the record and see that it has been modfied. Ideally they shouldn't deal with that part of the car if its the brakes, but you know they ARE going to open your hood. So if you wanna avoid bull sh*t drama in the future in case something goes wrong under the hood, I'd temporarily replace it back with the stock box.

BASE ACURA TLX NOW WANT A G35 AGAIN THOUGH
agreed brembos..mine went away after 5,000+ miles...cept today it squeaked i'm guessing cause of the wet weather...it'll go away
