G35 and the Skyline

Haven't post here for awhile now so I figure I would contribute. Of course the Skyline isn't mines but hey I can't complain about not sitting in one. Someday I'll own one for sure!!!

Very nice, love how the Volks look on the G. Just out of curiousity how much did you end up paying for the Skyline??? I assuming it was imported through MotoRex

Thanks for the comments. The tint on the G35 is 5%. The Skyline I believe is like 35%

The Skyline was imported through Motorex. My friend bought it from the first owner from New York. I think it ended up being around $50,000.

Do you have any problem seeing out at night with the 5%?

I just got my windows tinted a few days ago. I was insisting on 20%, but for some reason the shop owner kept persuading me to go with the 35%; he said 20% is too dark to see out at night. I can't believe I went with the 35%. I'm not happy about it, so I'm thinking about getting them re-tinted.

It can be a problem at night esp with rain. Even sometimes when I drive I have to roll the window down to be extra careful. I like the tint but if I had to do it again I would go for 10-15%.

Sure you can use the pictures for your project. I have more pictures so let me know what your looking for. The GTR is owned by one of my good friends.

Thanks! I don't have any plans to lower the car anytime soon but maybe in the future. I still have my civic to play with. LOL!!!

You guys sure that's a skyline? Looks an AWFUL lot like a 95-98 240SX with a front end kit from a skyline. Back quarter windows are too rounded. I had a 95 240sx, and 3 92 240sx's before that. Skylines are a little more squared off in the rear windows...
The pic doesn't give a good side shot of the "skyline" so it's hard to tell, but I think it's a 240sx with work done to make it look like a skyline.
