Projector Shroud Size

04 Coupe here, have morimoto D2S 2.0 Projectors to retrofit, and ordered a G37-R Shroud http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=4889

Depth-60mm
Width-125mm
Height-125mm

Will I have an issue fitting in my 04's??

I couldn't find the dimensions of the housing, nor the dimensions of the oem projector shroud size.

They're both made for 2.5" lenses, so you'll be fine. The 06-07 shroud also fits a 2.5" lens. As far as the mini D2s, I'd invest in something better. Go OEM to be honest. The FX35 projectors, even the G35 projectors are better than the mini d2s. If you buy the 06-07 lights, just buy the clear lens for the G35 projectors for 40$ and you'll have better performance than the Mini D2S's. OEM is also WAY more reliable.

just my .02

I will be buying 06 OEM's later this year, untill then I wanted to mod my stock 04's with the mini D2S which I got for a steal from a friend.
I am just worried of the shroud size and having to dremel it.

The shroud won't be 100% plug and play most likely. You'll probably have to trim it a little bit. The 04-05 housings are pretty big, but if you don't trim it, the shroud will stick forward and you'll see a ugly gap between the shroud and the housing. You won't know until you get inside for sure. But most if not all shrouds require cutting unless your housing is completely flat. which the 03-05 lights aren't.
