I bet that's a somewhat enjoyable drive considering the nature of the voyage. As for the return trip?... probably not so much.

I've taken mine from S. Fl. to Ohio (~16 hours non stop) and back 3 times in the past 2 years and have never had an issue related to the long trip. Keep on top of your maintinence like everyone said and you should be fine . It could be just me but I feel the longer in the drive you get, the more the G just seems to feel, for lack of better words, in the groove.

I'd change and top off the fluids before you left and def. check the tire pressure. Washer fluid..... maybe even raise the pressure a few pounds in each tire for a little better mileage. I have done a few long trips, one was over 3k and it has been great. Have fun and drive safe. Pack flares, water, food, first aid kit (usually included in trunk) blanket, check spare, gatorade and beef jerky.

Grab a can of Slime, a tire repair kit, and a cigarette lighter powered air pump, and jumper cables.

If you get a nail, you can fix it yourself on the side of the road. Jumpers are just good to have anytime.

Number for AAA or similar as well.

I wouldn't put a tire sealant in the tire. You'll gum up the TPMS sensors and then you'll have to go through the headache of buying new ones and registering them with the car's computer.

I agree and was about to post the same thing. Stay away from that tire slime stuff. Probably not a bad idea to take a portable compressor along with you though and a tire plug kit in case of an emergency. Plugging tires is really easy and a much cleaner and safer alternative than using that slime stuff or any equivalent product.

AAA, working spare (+WHEEL LOCK KEY), proper maintenance and tools FTW. Don't bother with fix-a-flat. If you're losing air you need to switch to the spare and find a tire shop. If your spare goes then free AAA tow to a tire shop. That said I went from San Diego to Baltimore without a hitch on stock errything along with 30mpg.
