If you're going FI later, get ART pipes. HFC's will clog up.

Several members here have F1 HFCs you can either go with them or ART pipes and swap your OE cats back in when you need to renew your regestration....a few choices just not BERK'S!

FI hfc's are without a doubt the best breathing mod for this car. Well worth the $$$$. I absolutely love mine.

I respectfully disagree and put the ARTs above any HFC...................

i guess its all about taste. FI claims zero rasp when paired with their catback. whats the rasp level on the arts?

i wish there were more detailed sound clips of the different type of test pipes / high flow cats on our motors.. i currently have an hks exhaust on stock cats, and i feel like the car is a bit to quiet.. i want it a little louder and deeper.. i'm not sure if i wanna get test pipes made for my car or buy some HFCs.. i want the deep tone, no rasp at all..

but if i don't want any rasp should i just leave my stock cats on? there are no emissions in my state so i'm not worried about anything like that.

2 options.

1. Motordyne Art Pipes
2. Fast Intentions Resonated Test Pipes

No rasp, great sound.

Considering they're nearly $600 test pipes.. they produce no rasp. Is rather have a full MD setup than a full FI setup.

I like the FI setup because its a little louder than stock but maintains the stock VQ tone.

The MD has a great tone, not overly loud but changes the tone a bit more, it is awesome tho.

That is alotttt of money for test pipes. Come to think about it, every aftermarket exhaust piece (quality ones that is) is expensive.

HA, for what id pay for a catback exhaust for this car i could have bought a catback, CAI, and a reflash for my bimmer.
