06 5AT Once Per Startup Noise - Ideas?

Hey all!

So I finally had the chance to shoot a video of this problem with my phone this morning to make this thread worth while.

I have an 06 5AT and once per startup, I get the noise you'll hear in the video at 0:18. It sounds like a "psh" right before 2k RPMs like something may not be disengaging properly. I thought it was right before it shifted into 2nd but I kept it in first a couple mornings and still the same sound happens. Car runs perfectly after that and will do it again once on the next startup. Any ideas? Don't want this to turn into a larger problem down the road.

Thanks!

I have this exact same issue. I have an 04 5AT and I've been worrying about this as well. Only happens after first startup and after its fine. If anyone could chime in with any suggestions and info that would be awesome.

It's the ABS system doing a system check. It happens the first time the car hits 10 mph after a start up.

That makes a lot of sense. This is the first car I've had that does that or makes it that pronounced. Thanks for the reassurance guys!
