2006 G35 purchase?

Hey guys, im finally in search of a g35 coupe and i came across a 2006 G coupe auto. with 50,700 miles on it. Now, ive emailed the dealership and we worked out a price at 15,895. listing price on dealer website was 16,995. I was wondering if i should go ahead with the car. They supplied a Carfax report and that came out clean with only 2 owners and i went ahead and pulled and Autocheck report and too came out clean with a 94 score. Ive checked the interior and the seats are like brand new, aside from a couple scratches and dents on the bottom im willing to pull the trigger. What do you guys think? If so what type of maintenance is needed around that millage range any input would be of great help.

Thats a really good deal I would say. You should check to see if the 30k maintenance was done, if it wasn't I would suggest plunging for the 60k maintenance a little early. Other than that just take care of it!

If you can & can spend the $$$, I'd go get an independent shop/mechanic/service to give the g35 a thorough once-over. Of course, if you think the carfax/autocheck is enough then great....but they can only check what's been reported.

I've done a pre-purchase inspection for every used car purchase I've made, for peace of mind if anything else.

Best advice....^....I couldn't have said it better! It's always better when you buy a car if they have maintenance records. Sounds like a good deal, pull the trigger....enjoy the ride!

16K for 50k miles?! Where are you?! That is a steal! Do it!.. as long as everything checks out though. Check PPI and make sure everything is in working fashion. Those damn stealerships always pull something out of their butts to jip you.
