Use the methods as stated by previous members. I had some similar spots on my V36 sedan and they came out. Looks like you need a good polish job on those tail lights as well....

It looks like tree sap or similar.

I'd first go at it with denatured alcohol (available from home depot). It doesn't hurt clear/coat paint but it WILL take off ALL your wax, so be sure to keep flipping/folding the towel/rag you use so you don't rub anything into the paint, cause with no wax it will scratch easily.

After that, go over it with some clay bar (following instructions for whatever clay bar you use), then give it a good, thorough wax job (however you want to do it - hand wax, buff, 14 coats of Zaino, etc).

Or don't waste your time going over it twice, once with alcohol and once with a clay bar. Just use the CLAY BAR!!! It will do 99% of the work by itself if you take your time, follow the instructions and take your time some more.

With that many spots and the way sap is, it'll screw his bar of clay bar over pretty quickly. That's why I said use the denatured alcohol first. It'll remove the majority of the sap quickly.

Yep.. looks like sap. Those are tough little buggers to get off. I have a few spots on my hood as well from the previous owner.. it's bugging the **** out of me. :/

True, but that's the purpose of the bar. It's disposable. Even under good conditions, it shouldn't be used for more than two complete car treatments. With alcohol and a rag, if you're not careful while scrubbing, you could add more scratches to the paint. With clay bar and properly being used it should do no more damage to than what's already there. Just one less step to make a mistake on.

HAHA....pollen can be removed with your fingernail. Not sure with everything you've done that clay would remove those spots? The denatured alcohol might work but be very careful, don't rub hard and remove with water immediately. That process works well with water spots....Gary
