crazy vibrations on the shifter 6mt normal?

crazy vibrations on the shifter 6mt normal?

today i test drove a 6mt 05 g35 and the shifter vibrates like crazy.. is this normal for all g35s? or is there possibly something wrong with this car

Mine vibrates like crazy on my 04. Not saying its normal though... Idk

Your definition of crazy and mine may be totally different....so it's hard to say.

Some vibration is normal. It will also move around like 1/4 inch as you get on/off the gas. If you can't hear anything strange vibrating then it is probably fine.

Mine only vibes when I'm in gear and let off the gas. It usually vibes a bit as the car slightly compression brakes and I usually get some sort of single big vibe about 1/2 a second to 1 second after letting off the gas. It's always done it, and I don't see it as a problem.

I personally don't feel an abnormal amount on mine. By abnormal I mean it's the same as any other MT car. It may not be anything to worry about, but I don't have that problem with mine.

Mine at 3500 plus I'm sure was just me over analyzing it. It's been 10 years since Ive driven a mt...

The shifter does vibrate just like any other stick shift. Maybe because that's the only thing that vibrates it makes it feel as if it is doing it pretty crazy....

What you're experiencing is 100% normal in the G. Nothing to be worried about. Just get used to it.
