Talking 03 coupe strut/shock question

so i recently replaced the stock struts n shocks on my car, they were replaced with OEM parts.... before i had the parts replaced, everytime i would hit a bump on the freeway or uneven payment or really anything that wasn't "smooth" pavement, it would feel like a truck hit the bottom of my car...... thus made me replace the struts n shocks.... and since then i have noticed a small improvement, but now when i hit bumps, etc... it still pounds the suspension like a truck.... so im curious if 03 coupes just naturally have that type of suspension or if something else in my suspension could be the cause??? please need help... thank you in advance

Compression rod bushings are a pain in the ***. Look into the full metal ones made by SPL i've been using those for a couple months and it's been doing pretty good so far. Keeping it lubricated keeps the clucking at bay for the most part.
