g35, acura tl, and maybe a 350z if I find the right one. I don't plan to race it at all. Just want the most reliable and not crazy on the repairs. I have about 13k cash to spend, so miles will be somewhat high. I just want one that generally the most reliable and also which one would be cheaper for repairs
IF you want a sports car than get the 350z and if its a bit too much for you then get the g35. If you want a comfortable reliable transporter than the Tl is your choice. They all target different audiences
Your best bet is to test drive them all and see what suits your needs the best wether it be economics, style or driving fun. You'll have the most fun in a g35 in my opinion because you get comfort and a very capable sporty rwd chassis from the Z. The Z imo is a weekend car.
The TL is fwd and I have a thing against fwd cars... LOL. They all have there set of problems...

I just had this same dilemma. I'm not biased at all just because I have an Infiniti, I'm just telling you what I think. The automatic transmissions in the early Acuras (04-06) are junk and require a lot of maintenance. If you get a manual which are extremely difficult to find, you have to replace the clutch, flywheel etc. and could cost $1,000 just in parts! Second, you have the timing belt at 105k. That would cost a little over a grand also.
The Infinitis use a ton of fuel and chew right through stock brakes but are faster and cost less to own (I don't say more reliable because the clutch and timing belt on the TL is a maintenance item). You could also have the wheel bearings go on you but that's very unlikely. Also, the compression rod bushings seem to not last long so what I did was spray some quality lubricant in the bushing and they haven't squeaked for three months. Again, I'm not biased at all but in your best interest I would say get a G. Don't forget the Acuras are front wheel drive.

I personally like the G coupe (any year) over the TL. I like the TL over the G sedan (any year). And I like the 350z over the newer body style G coupes. That about sums it up!

i was in the same boat as u but i went for the infiniti because it simply looks nicer. its a beautiful eye catching car, no doubt. lately when i drive, i turn down the radio and rev past 3k just to hear the engine sounds. imo very addicting sounds that it makes as well lol

Its funny how many people were in the same dilemma. I test drove both the to type S and the G coupe. The TL has better interior than G imo, but the G has better comfort and style than the TL... that's why I went with the G.
