Totaled my baby what should i do
You never answered us... Is your care boosted or what... Or did you just have extra gauges up to no reason? If I had a boosted car at 4am and wrecked it 1) I'm either drunk and Fn messing around or 2) Im showing off and it has too much power and I loose it ...lol just sayin it was a nice car tho... Sad they only giving you that for it should be more than that if it was boosted you got that much in the car plus the car value mine is 05 with 80k on it when I bought it I paid 12.5 for it... The bank praised it worth 17.6 so i think it should be more that
So they gave me a total loss offer of 10k... I will still owe around 4-5 k on the loan and im going to need to get another car . What am i so-post to do ? Ive never been on a accident or totaled a vehicle for that matter.
On this offer they sent me via email its saying that other 03 OB 6mt Black int Coupes with 80k miles have sold for 10k.. Thats some bs because i have never seen a g35 sell for 10k

In some states you can assign your own appraiser to evaluate your vehicle to make sure that the Insurance Co.'s evaluation is correct. If you feel like your insurance company has undervalued your vehicle, maybe you should hire your own appraiser to evaluate the car. No, looking at values on autotrader does not count. Otherwise take the money, pay off your loan and you have some left over to make a down payment on a new car.
Just my 2 cents.
No the gauges were in the car when i bought it , I tried to take them out but there was a hole where the ricer mounted them before i bought it. I did have 1000 Insurance on aftermarket and they didn't even include that in the offer.. My wheels alone cost 1000 .
The 10k they are giving me doesn't cover my loan that's the point im trying to get at , My loan was for 17k I probably paid off around 2k on it . So im going to be stuck having to pay around 4-5K off when i dont even have the car any more...

^--- this, I got gap insurance too, I never tried to collect it yet though, you should review your loan value and kbb loan value/dealer trade in value yearly, once they are even you can drop the gap. I hear it's a hassle to collect it as well. Maybe if you buy the salvage you can make up some of that loss by parting it out.
Yeah , I know now about gap and i was just about to buy it on my next paycheck before this happened !! Is there any way i could get another loan and condense what is left into a new auto loan ?
My questions is why in the HELL did you pay 17k+ a few months ago for a car that is CLEARLY not worth even CLOSE to that amount. I have seen 03's with 80k go for 12k or lower, the insurance will always lowball the first time, its your responsibility to get them to come up, either by getting an appraisal done of pre-wreck condition or by fighting them over the phone. I suggest the first. They dont have to prove anything, the offer comes from a central book of recent sales for the area. Yes you are getting screwed by other ppl getting good deals.
I can't say this will help you, as I live in Canada.
I totaled off an Integra years back. They gave an offer that I thought was low for the year/mileage, so I actually did go on autotrader and print off examples of similar cars going for a lot more money. In the end they gave me more money then I paid for the car a couple years previously.
It doesn't hurt to make a bit of noise, just do it in a calm and polite manner.
