Help!! Some sort of electrical issue

Angry Help!! Some sort of electrical issue

Ok I have. 05 g coupe auto. And here are the symptoms

1. Parking lights stays on with headlights off but only when car is on
2. All the interior gauges are lit up even when headlights aren't on
3. Radio stays on after key is taken out but turns off when I switch the headlights to the off position..


What could be the issue. The car is stock with just pioneer DD headunit

Did u just install the pioneer??

No. I had to put something else on. While I was I disconnected the wired that connect to the a/c controls and the navi control harness. Then when I plugged it back in the navi buttons light up and all the other issues started happening.

Head unit was installed 2 weeks ago. But I think I did smell a faint burning smell

It's gotta be related.. I would check all your wires then go from there..

But what would cause a burning smell? Maybe I shorted something causing these issues since it didn't happen before I took it apart
