Advice on 03 cloth coupe

I need some expert advice- I'm looking at an 03 black cloth coupe with 20k miles on it. What is a fair price to offer on this car. The car's msrp NEW is 29,990- So I'm thinking 24000 - 24500. The car appears to be in excellent condition and I didn't notice any driveline, suspension, brake issues on my test drive.
One possible negative is carfax shows it as a corporate lease, so I'll have to check into the implications (how many drivers, how was it serviced etc).

Dealer is asking 29900 based on KBB retail, Edmonds retail is 26200. Any feedback would be appreciated. thks.

DO NOT PAY OVER $25,000!!!!!!!!!!!
You can get a new 2004.5 auto coupe for $33,000 with leather and maybe several more options...that's only $3K more! You do not want to have any buyers remorse with this type of purchase, get the car the way YOU want it, not just what they have.

Yes, the base 5AT model comes w/ cloth, but starting in 05, leather is standard.

Thks for the comments- I might offer 24500. If the dealer really believes KBB pricing he'll sit on this car for a long time. I've got 2 dealers in my area (south jersey) who have had 2003 g coupes for sale at 29000-30000 for the last 6 months. Nobodys biting. We'll see.

The cloth is nice quality - as an example its about equal to the cloth in my 97 maxima. The car has everything the base leather cpe has except the leather and seat heaters including stuff like hids and rear-view mirror heaters. The best thing about it is the extra headroom due to no sunroof.

Daniel3000 - Nice choice - congrats.

I dont think the 2004 5AT came in cloth. It was only the 2003 and not many were made.

It's posts like this that make me want to scream every time I hear someone asking about cloth... DON'T GET IT!!!! You're going to want leather and in the long run the $1,400 or whatever for the premium package is NOTHING!!! What would that be? Another $10 or $15 a month? Will that really put you over the edge?

Buyers remorse is the worst feeling... and what's $2K when you're already spending upwards of $30K+... COME ON!!!

.
