Try doing the window reset procedure.

Same w/ '03

I've been having the same issue. I actually got the window motor changed out about 10 months ago and the window continually does this (on the driver's side). Either way, the only way I have fixed it - is taking off the door panel. There is an actual reset switch you have to press and hold and you roll the window all the way up and down. The problem is, the window may go back to doing what it is doing now after some time.

Really a pain in the *** for G owners.

Here's what I used for my '03: http://infinitihelp.com/diy/gcoupe/p..._procedure.htm

I'm thinking the '07 might be similar, but I would double check.

I have this same issue on my 04 coupe. Also the passenger side. Exact same symptoms. I've done the reset by the switch, but it doesn't work. The only thing I haven't tried yet is replacing the whole window motor. So I assume that's my issue. I'm too lazy, and it doesn't bother me that much, so it'll get done eventually.

Idk how I got it to be fixed or how I thought of this but I held the passenger window buntton up all the way from drivers side door panel for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and it fixed my issue at least for the time being. Something tells me it will go back to doing it again. I geuss will just wait and see. It's like there's a ghost in our cars lol.

try removing the door panel and second panel and getting to the motor, remove the motor housing and clean any dust/debris around the motor, my friend had the same issue on his 03 g35 coupe and we took it apart and noticed a bunch of crap around the motor, same symptoms, window went up fine after that, i wanted to post this even tho its probably been a while since when i looked this issue up for my friend the only info i could get was people saying how it should be covered by warranty or that infiniti needs to do a recall, totally useless information i feel like on a forum community people would have more diy info, lol anyway hope this helped or hope you got it working. don't assume your motor is broken !! itll save you a 125$ diagnostic and a 600$ repair at the stealership. took me and my friend about 2 hours total and we were pretty much winging it.

I BELIEVE this works for all G35 coupes...see the attached TSB. I'm not positive that it works from 03-07, but I know for a fact it works for 03-05. Might as well give it a shot!

...

And now that you have paid your $79 diagnostic fee, you might as well ask them to just reset it for you for free since you've already been there. They might be nice; or you can do it yourself.
