Z tube

http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=STIZTBE01

I been looking around all over the place and cant find the kit like this that often; anyone know if this is the best price for this? And if someone sells the kit with a polished z tube? Also do i have to buy the mounts on the end or will the stock ones work just fine?

Not sure what the price is(didn't see it). You won't gain 11hp though. Yes, you can use your stock coupler so all you need is the tube and filter. You can buy used z tubes in our marketplace for cheap. The jwt pop charger is probably what is depicted in that picture. You can buy those cheap too. Just shop around. It's all for sound, almost zero performance gains.

The filter will not fit in your stock housing. The pop charger comes with a Heat shield that takes place of your stock air box. You can find a better price then 240.

aptony, step up and buy the Stillen complete kit, it's constructed of plastic composites and that giant K&N filter. Other intakes like the polished popchargers are metal costing you a very high percentage of hp when they get warm. Best thing you can do for our cars is cooler air, they love it! Are you after function or pretty....

The cone filter/system has no performance gain. It's the tube that want....and even with that, a gain is questionable. If I were you, I'd look into a oem 350z tube or a Z tube from someone like Z1 Motorsports and then just throw a K&N filter in your stock intake box. Will save you some cash and do the same thing, if not better.

Well I want the z tube to hopefully get a few xtra hp's and the stillen cone for the sound and hopefully not canceling out any power in the process. That's why I'm looking for the whole filter housing instead of the heat shield the pop charger comes with

^ Yes of course.

Stick with the Z-tube for intake, unless you are looking for more sound or engine bling. Any type of metal will heat soak.

Gain a little throttle response and keep it classy under the hood. I had them put that combo together a few weeks ago when I bought mine and couldn't find both items together anywhere. The filter is a few dollars over priced but they're a good source for parts. I've ordered several things from them now and it takes them like 2 days to get from CA to PA, good communication also.

Best of luck.
