Strange Beep after removing console
Ok, so I want to try and align my center console(left side is not even) so I put car in N
popped off the console then found there was not much I could do to align it. So I put it all back to together. At the same time I figure I would unplug the battery to reset ECU(if it really works) So get everything back together, take it for a spin to make for it everything is good. all is good until I get back...
I turn off the car and it starts beeping at me. Then I get out of the car and it beeps like I left the keys in the car. After it is done it all stops, until I try and lock the doors then it beeps again.
So now when I am sitting in car and turn to ACC and back to off it starts beeping at me again then the rapid beeps when I open and close the door.
Ideas anyone? Also never tried or noticed before but should you be able to shift out of P when the car is off?
Seems like my shift lock is engaged or something.
sorry for the long post. Thanks for any help.

Figured it out.
When I put the shift **** back on it must have been down to far, car was thinking the
car was trying to be shifted out of P. I have the MOMO shifter so the button is on the top.
Did not notice it last night when it was darker but the car was not fully in the LOCK 0 postion.
