wheel spacers... bearing damage? survey??

ok so i know what spacers i want to go with and im not asking one of those dumb "what size spacer should i run" question.

My question is how many of you have ran into wheel bearing issues? im stanced on s-techs with cut (paper thin lol) spring mounts in the rear. running on 18" nismo lmgt4's ( FR: 8.5 inch dia RR: 9.5 inch dia). only 69,xxx miles on the car so im not worried about it suddenly breaking. just wondering how many of you actually ran into these problems related to this and around how long were you riding on the spacers before it happened.

i searched and this is the only issue i couldn't really find alot of info on. just thinking logically though i would think it would put more stress on the whole hub...

The extra stress would be a long term effect (years), so I doubt anybody could say for sure.
I forget when I installed my spacers but I haven't had to replace a hub since.

yeah im figuring it wouldn't be a huge problem. wasn't sure if anyone else had ran into any sort of hub issues.

im assuming it would affect tire wear as well

yeah i doubt anyone has had spacers on long enough to pinpoint a direct correlation... just got me thinking though, say if you had aftermarket wheels with an offset, you would be putting extra stress on the hub also, because you have more tire touching the ground farther from the hub than stock ?

I think the hub/bearing stress was one of those "what if", "could possibly go wrong" problems that took off with no real evidence to support the concern. I've only had spacers about a month, so we'll see. I put 24,000 miles on my car this year, so I might run into a problem sooner than most, if at all.
