Disconnecting Battery

am I suppose to lower window completely or raise it completely before disconnecting the battery?

here is instruction for installing satellite, it says to lower windows completely before disconnecting the battery's negative terminal
http://www.smiley.net/g35/satradio.htm

but on the owner's manual it says to raise the window completely before disconnecting

which one should i go with?

Re: Disconnecting Battery

Please tell me your not gonna put that antenna on the outside of the car. Also how much is that set up you have and does it work through the stock radio? Oh yeah and keep the windows down.

Re: Disconnecting Battery

yeah it works through the stock radio, i think.
I am just planning on resetting my ECU, i have no interest for the satellite radio. btw i think there is a way you can do it so the antenna goes on the inside between the back head rests. someone posted a picture before on this forum

Re: Disconnecting Battery

Yeah I actually saw one at the dealership today that had The sat antenna between the headrests in the back so that looked good. I was having a good time there till they told me to get off the property and come back in a month when my car arrived. For some reason they wouldnt let me wait for the truck I dont know why.
