Finally Dropped

So I lowered the G about two weeks ago and finally got around to taking a pic after the springs settled and all. Very happy with the drop and ride. I used Skunk2 G sedan springs (1.3" F & 1.1" R) and couldn't be happier. I eventually want coils but this will buy me some happiness for the time being.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Current mods: Takeda short ram intake, Skunk2 springs

Up Next: plenum spacer, exhaust and hopefully rims

Sorry it's not the best pic but you get the idea

I want to do this after I get rims. How much did this run you? Your car is gorgeous by the way!

Very nice clean OB coupe! Never heard of anyone using those Skunk springs, looks good. How do you intend to correct the suspension/alignment now?

Thank you!
I actually picked up the springs in the marketplace slightly used for just over $100.

Thanks, Gary! Love all tour posts btw. Youre very insightful! Front and rear camber kits ASAP and a good alignment.

Looks awesome! I'm looking to drop my OB Coupe pretty soon as well. I'll have to keep those in mind.

There's a set of Espelir GT springs for sale now. The guy says it drops .4" inches all around. And more on a G35.

I can guarantee that it drops A LOT more on a G35. Probably more like 1" - 1.5" all around.

Yeah I've seen a couple pics of Gs dropped on a set of Espelir GTs. It's a really nice drop.

Yeah, I hadn't seem them before prior to when I found this G for sale. At first I wasn't a fan but they're growing on me!

The wheels are clean. I *think* I like the drop, but you need some more pictures to show it off properly.

Here's a few more pics after I got off work this evening. Not sure if there were certain shots or angles but hopefully these help give a better feel for the springs and the setup.

Oh, and I stumbled across this one when I first got her! Hopefully you can see the difference...I know I can!

Enjoy!
