I'm really ocd and things being even and symmetrical if I were to only tint the back windows then to me it would look weird.. if I could do 40% all around I'd do it in a heartbeat.
i think the pic for the "tint tips" is a G35 lol randomly noticed that

i have 50% on my driver and passenger windows but back quarters and rear glass are 35% (darkest i can go in Virginia without 5-0 trouble) but i would prefer 35% all around

So you have a OB coupe with the stealth theme going on, that's cool not trashy. Cops don't like your dark tint because they can see who's driving, understandable. Drug dealer car? If I was a drug dealer I'd be driving a white delivery van that was nondescript. Only someone that wasn't into the stealth look would consider it anything but flawless....Gary

Not too worried about dark tint. As mentioned, it's the mirrored tint and colored tint that I hate.

Tinted tails. Hate em. Never liked them. Never will.

If you want to be Mr. hipster and stuff, you can do this to the rear window...LOL!

ive got an 05' Diamond Graphite with black interior and im getting my windows tinted this week. I want it as dark as possible and still legal and in Missouri u can have 35% on passenger and driver window and anything behind that. So im thinking of doing 5% on all 3 back windows and 35 up front. I dont want it to look bad as in a huge contrast of very dark to light tint. What do u think? Since its a darker color car with dark interior will it still look decent. And keep in mind im going 5% on the back because it can get hotter than Haiti here in the summer time and with black leather...well you know. Thanks. if anyone has some pics of their car with this set up im talking about pics would be great. I dont want to regret it once its done

all my cars are tinted 35% never had any problem. With out tiny it just makes the car look "regular" does not stand out. Tint is the ****!

I had 20% all around with black interior on my last car. It was cool at first - but grew old quickly.

I now have 35% all around with tan interior on my Coupe. Looks way better. 35% is the way to go. Tinted/Vinyl covered headlights and tail lights looks terrible in my honest opinion. Some cars can pull it off but its very few and far between.

The reason cops don't like dark tinted windows is because if they stop you and you don't roll down your windows they can't see what you're doing. You could be pulling out a gun. I know it sucks if you get a ticket for it but you have to put yourself in their shoes.

I've had my G for 8 years now. The first 5 I had 15%, but that came out to actually 5% since the actual window is like 9 or 10% by itself. I had to get the side tint windows removed due new german laws. Didn't care for the half/ half look so I removed all the tint and I liked the look for a while. I eventually when back to a lighter tint (35%) and it made the G look a lot nicer in my opinion. The tint did help with the heat since I was in Turkey when I put the new tint on. I noticed that when the tint is too dark, it gives the car an almost "toy car" look. With the 35% look (24% with stock window tint built in) it gave the car a more 3D look. Might not make sense, but with the light being able to break into the vehicle, it looks more classy to me.
