I dont want it to look bad as in a huge contrast of very dark to light tint. What do u think? Since its a darker color car with dark interior will it still look decent. And keep in mind im going 5% on the back because it can get hotter than Haiti here in the summer time and with black leather...well you know. Thanks. if anyone has some pics of their car with this set up im talking about pics would be great. I dont want to regret it once its done
I got the same set up now after having 3 fix it tickets. it does look pretty offset if you want 35% in the front then dont go limo tint on the back. Something between 10-25% but thats what i would do. Get the solar guard brand tints which blocks a significant amount of heat than a regular tint. Have tested and felt the difference. Will put up pics later today when I get a chance.

Literally just got mine done not even an hour ago. I love them, I was going to get 35% but ended up getting 30% all around.

Tints look classy (not trashy) if not overdone. Here in AZ you absolutely need it, and although there is some law of % here, it is never enforced. I've had very dark cars and even when getting pulled over for other things (speed) the police here never mention it because they understand the need for it here. That being said, I stick to about 25-30 %. IMO the side windows have to be the same %, it just looks very wrong when the quarter window is darker than the door, it throws the whole lines of the coupe off (JGITT, don't mean to slam you, it's not too noticeable on yours).

No offense taken, i didnt want it to contrast to bad but it gets pretty hot here in missouri so i wanted all the help i could with keeping the inside cool, and cops here are not cool, they will pin it to you for anything so i had to keep it legal. But at least i didnt go like 5% on the sides and legal up front. That wouldve been to much contrast

My G is black, with 15% tint all around, and black rims.
Some friends say it looks like a drug dealer car lol, but I just like all black cars.

I love the privacy of the tint a lot too. If I am at a red light beside a bus stop for example, people are going to be looking at the car obviously because it's not your average every day car. Then they want to see the driver, but they can't :P

Only downfall of my tint is sometimes I can't really see out of it lol. But thats only if im in an area with no street lights. which rarely happens

Like many others I have found 35% to be a good compromise. I'm 35%. Technically I'm supposed to go no darker than 50% in front(va law) but since its not obnoxious I have not been ticketed yet. If I could go darker I would though. I got spoiled by my old vehicle's 20%. One does get used to the privacy.

I think that some cars don't need tint. Example: 3 series BMWs. My friend just tinted his M3 and I think it looks aweful.

I like tint because it reduces UV damage, makes driving more comfortable, and prevent glass from getting everywhere if it breaks.
