Plastidip is not paint, it is much thicker and you need layers of it.
I also do not see how you can get good even coats on a unlevel source like a wheel.
Yes it would be minor but at 60+ mph, minor could vibrate. The weights they use
to balance are minor as well. But lose one and you can feel it.
Just a thought I had. Would love to know what this stuff weights after 5 coats.

probably the weight of a can...usually ppl use about a can per wheel or less

more than enough ppl plastidip their wheels with 0 issue.
I think there is even a guy on here who did his whole car in matte white.
Plasti-dip the company can mix you any color you would like.
My only question would be is how to clean it, like if you did your whole car... how would it hold up with soap, water, scrub... or do you just add coats lol?
Plasti'd my grille and wheels (previous owner loved curbs apparently).Have had it on over a year, through the MN winter with the terrible salt on the road, it hasnt scraped off at all...still looks like it did the day I performed the work on it.
