Which Motordyne Intake plenum do I need?

I have a 03 coups 5AT...i was debating on selling cause i want a 4 door but just cant yet...going to save up for a G8GT....so id like to do a couple of cheaper mods such as the plenum..

can someone link me to the one I need and the best price (i think ebay) and I dont know if I need copper or not...

I also found this install video on yourtube...is it really this easy?


Do I want to change the gasket?

You don't need the plenum, the MREV2 is basically your current plenum with some machine work. Its only the REV-UP engines that benefit from MD's plenum. All you need is a MD plenum spacer.

yea thats actually what I meant...worded it wrong....the video is just for the spacer.

Not sure if your supposed to, but I kept the stock gasket on there when I installed mine. Haven't had any boost leaks yet. If it gets hot where you live then it wouldn't be a bad idea to get the ISO thermal kit as well.

I left the stock gasket on there too. Maybe we did it wrong?

Most member here install the MotorDyne 5/16" spacer, if you go to the 1/2" like I have you can't use the engine cover. That's all you need for a first gen VQ motor with a AT....Gary

Ok good...I will just keep the stock gasket...didnt really want to go that deep into the engine..

Why buy it from ebay? I'm sure one of the vendors on here will match that price or maybe even beat it

+1...I know OC Infiniti sells them on eBay, but I'm sure if you PM them they'll probably give it to you for the same price.

id try to pick up a used one for a much better deal. check on my350z as well if none are readily available

Gotta remember that they get owned for ebay fees when you purchase there... might as well help em out and buy straight up
