Well I don't have the wheels yet because the only reason I was going to get them was to PC them pink. I have matte black Volk TE37s (summer wheels) and stock G37 wheels (winter wheels) with blue nuts and a candy blue BBK. The only pink I have on the car is a few stickers. But it's just not enough! haha

here is a better picture of the car i posted. I think the color is an accurate rendition of the color you are going for. But like i said its works well with a black car... on a blue car it will be more vibrant bc you have more color going on. but i think you could pull it off A. bc you're a girl and B. if you have an aggressive enough setup with drop and offsets anything will look good, especially since you have quality wheels and not reps. Id say go for it!

and on the photoshop, its solid for a first try but i think bc it is a photoshop it lacks depth which is what i think is throwing ppl off.

I completely agree with everything you said! Because I'm no photoshop expert, it looks funny. What specs would you recommend to pull it off? I was going to go with a +12 offset and have 10mm spacers if I need to use them, 255/35/19 235/35/19 and a reasonable drop on coils. I don't drive much and know locally where I can and cannot go so I could probably drop it rather low without issues.

what are the dimensions of the wheels you are looking at? 19x10.5? 19x9.5? You are definitely in the right range already. keep offsets 15 or lower and you should be fine.

Also be careful of type of rim and size if you do go pink. The car above i think is 18s. rims with deep lips look smaller anyways (compared to concave), the pink really makes it pop! so the 18s dont look that small.

if you go pink I wouldnt go with 20s. and i would go with a wheel that has a lip

Well I didn't want to spend much because I don't really know how it's going to look like. So I was going to get reps. Unsure of size still. Front: 19x9.5 Rear: 19x10.5 or 11.

I think we should all have names that suggest we are a woman lol. Look at all of the helpful comments on rims that anybody else would get blasted on

thats still fine lol...

19x9 +13 or 19x9.5 + 20
19x10.5 + 13 or 19x11 +15

something like that is what im thinking of with a little stretch on the tire and a fender roll, youll be good to go. but dont be afraid to go a little higher with offsets, you can always adjust with spacers

also go through this thread a little to see what you like. https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...pecs-only.html

tire size plays a big role too, but with what you mentioned you are in the right neighborhood

The photoshop isn't bad. The contrast of the pink and blue can work with an aggressive setup.

Yes, it does indeed help.

Ok at the beginning of today, I was like meh, but now I'm like, oh yeah! I think I'll do 9.5 and 11.

I've already been talking to a local shop who suggested I do a slightly darker pink. I'll have to go down there and see what they had in mind.

I think the darker shade with a nice polished lip would look great. What color lugs are you going with? Blue?

Ok, I guess I'll bite the bullet then and do it. Lugs? I hadn't really thought about it. Neochrome or the blue ones I already have.

dont make it sound so glib. You wanted to know if its a good idea and if it can be pulled off... its not a bad idea and it definitely can be pulled off. Replica rims are easy to sell anyway lol. Just keep us posted with pics!! and neochrome extended lugs +1

I'm nervous spending around $2k on wheels, tires and PCing, to get them on my car and they look awful. Yes, replicas can be sold easily, just not pink ones.
