What to do with Stock '03 G35
Hey Everyone!
I just bought a blue '03 G35. Im looking to add some mods to it.
Im fairly new to customizing my vehicle to please be gentle with me if I am not saying the right things. :-)
I figured i'd start out slow and had my windows tinted last week, and upgraded from the stock cd player to a JVC head unit.
Next thing I want to do is upgrade with new wheels. There are stock 18's on there now. If I get 20's should I have the car lowered with coil overs or lowering springs?
These are the wheels im looking at getting, and am not sure if 19s or 20s would be smart

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Size of wheels are up to you, if you get 20s and lower the car, you may or may not experience some rubbing with the fender and need it rolled. Also, if you do lower if you may want the camber corrected with a camber kit so your tires don't wear out prematurely.

You don't want your tires sitting like this, unless your into that sort of thing, although this is an extreme example, nobody's car looks like that when just changing the wheels and lowering it.

I'd go coilovers rather than lowering springs if your budget allows for it. Next mods, plenum spacer and HFC's.
Just a tip, if you get 20s without lowering it.. your car would look like a monster truck. Sitting high and mighty.. but not in a good way. I'd say stick with 19s.. since the 05-07 sports package Gs had those it wouldn't be overly big and it would save you some weight.

Definitely up to you. 19 are going to sit perfect. I'm on 20's right now because tires are a lot cheaper for 20. Since I am cambered in as well tires are gone every 5 to 6 months. 20s look really big on your car but if you lower it and make it look right it can look really nice as well as long as you have slim tires. just my 2 cents.
