If you need to get rid of the G for a more sporty ride with manual transmission, besides the Evo and STi, how about an S2000? Actually, if you're considering a CTS-V, you really need to look at a Corvette.

Why not just get an 05 G35 Sedan AWD? Unless you are looking for change for change sake, you can't beat what WARD's call one of the best engines around. Certainly if I am looking for more power.....the vette is it since I don't have $300k for a real muscle car

i really just don't like the 2000. and corvette, not a fan of american muscle. i was always a german guy. i liked the evo cause the awd, cheap price, and a little teeny tiny bit cause of fast and the furious 2

Actually your G has been on the list of the top 10 cars to retain their value for the past 2 years. It's been published several times that the G will likely retain over 50% of its value after 5 years (56% to be exact). I don't know what makes you think the opposite...

You'll do way better selling the car to a private buyer than trading it in at a dealership.

Sounds like you should get a used BMW.

I got a ride in a modded EVO today and I must say I am very impressed. If you already have a luxury daily driver then I would seriously consider it. Bash the interior/exterior styling all you want, that car is an awesome performance machine and can be modded into an absolute beast. I can safely say that the EVO I rode in would rape me from a standstill, walk me on highway rolls, and lose me in the twisties.

-Less horses than the G35C 276 - 280
-Brembos -- okay!
-Got the box look

Overall....personally, I would not trade luxury and class with an awesome mixture of power for a Mit. Have you looked into the maintenance/service issues of a Mitsub.? Just my $0.02.....wouldn't do it.
You probably don't know too much about these cars.

The Evo will destroy the G in every performance aspect, no question. And with AWD, the driving experience will be much more enjoyable. The reason it is 276 is because they have a gentleman's agreement in Japan where they agreed not to exceed 276 hp. So that is just a number. (Though I don't know how Nissan got away with it). Anyway, I read in Motortrend that after the release of the Acura RL (300 hp) the agreement is going down the drain.

That being said, the G has class, luxury and style. Personally, I'll still take the G because I don't care how fast I get to sixty, as long as its less than 6 secs.
