Tank only fills half way???
I have the same problem on my '03.
Some pumps fill it up more than others. Also, holding the pump a certain way a bit sideways and not fully inserted puts in more gas too.
Mine goes up a bit over 3/4 full now so I don't really care anymore Im not wasting money on fixing that.

Had this problem since I've owned my G. Came to the forum, did a search, found the answer
Since I don't live in the states, I have to work around it, but you might be able to go to the dealership and have this issue fixed. What I was doing for number of years was waiting till the tank was almost completely empty and filled it then. But, that doesn't always work. The best way that works for me is to only put the nozzle in halfway or so. Just don't put it in all the way. Then when the gas is being pumped, only apply half pressue. Don't pull the trigger full throttle like. This works for me and I can fill it all the way no matter how much I already have in the tank.
